In this project, students learn how music supports and enhances emotional wellbeing as they design and build a community sound garden. Students explore and experiment with how sounds relate to emotions, create instruments, and work together in teams to prototype and construct a section of the garden focused on helping visitors engage with specific emotions. They incorporate music vocabulary as they develop a guided tour and demonstration performance to show how their garden area can help visitors respond to their feelings.
