How can a dancer tell a story about interactions between humans and their environments?
Project Summary
Students work in teams to choreograph a dance piece or sequence that tells a story of human-environment interactions, taking into account the ways that culture and geography affect one another.
Teams choose to choreograph a piece that describes the impact of culture and economics on environments or that illustrates the influences of environmental change on migration patterns, conflict, and cooperation. Students should find music to accompany the work.
