Student teams choreograph an original dance that tells a story of conflict and cooperation between people and their environment. After exploring the five themes of geography, teams research a region and its people's culture, then study how culture shapes dance. They select music, build choreography using the five elements of dance, and revise through peer critique, documenting their process in dance journals, before performing for school and community members and experts.
