In this project, students explore the field of genetics and delve into the debate surrounding genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Students will work together to investigate key concepts in genetics, understand the principles behind genetic engineering, evaluate the benefits and concerns related to GMOs, and develop evidence-based arguments that they share in a community education forum/town hall meeting. This project enhances students' understanding of genetics and their ability to engage in scientific discourse.
