Students collaborate as business partners to plan and launch a pop-up ice cream shop where they sell small, medium, and/or large cups and cones in up to three unique ice cream flavors. Applying their knowledge of the formulas for finding the volume of three-dimensional objects (spheres, cylinders, and cones), students make financial projections and calculate how best to distribute their ice cream in order to make a profit while also bringing joy to their community.
