In this project, students explore the exciting world of arthropods and create identification cards to help people in their community recognize the bugs in their area. Through a series of hands-on activities and observations, they develop their scientific inquiry skills and enhance their vocabularies. This project encourages students to make observations, create arthropod illustrations using basic shapes, use scientific vocabulary, and categorize arthropods in several different ways based on a variety of characteristics.
