Students use the writing process to craft a compelling personal narrative while learning from expert storytellers. They explore the characteristics of effective narrative storytelling by investigating the author’s craft in a range of models, then mine their life experiences for powerful stories and write their own personal narratives. Students rehearse and revise their stories before performing them live at a “Moth”-style storytelling event.
