PBLNow Social Studies Curriculum Units

Below are links to our Gold Standard Social Studies Project Based Units.  These social studies units were designed in partnership with teachers using a blend of the National Council for the Social Studies C3 Framework along with content standards from California and Colorado.  The units focus on content and topics commonly taught in each grade band, are intended to work in alignment with your state standards, and to be recontextualized for your locality.  Included in each unit is a unit overview, all lessons and student facing materials, and embedded performance assessments.  Follow the steps below to access the materials.

The folder copy tool allows you to copy full projects to your personal Google Drive. When you click “Authorize,” you give permission to the folder copy tool to create new project folders in your Google Drive. The Curriculum Units, when copied, are organized into folders, and all the files are editable rather than view-only. This allows you to make changes to the project materials without copying each document individually. This also allows you to upload the project content into Google Classroom easily. You will have an organized project on your Drive from which you can create assignments and quizzes in Google Classroom.

View the privacy policy related to the folder copy tool.  Once you have copied the project (s), you may revoke this permission in your Google Account settings. (Learn more)
